Finally, I am working on legislation that would require state agencies and local governments to open up their books and publish exactly how your money is being spent, specifically illustrating how spending compares to similar jurisdictions. After discussing this issue with constituents at a town hall in Kettering last year and recently working with constituents on specifics, I believe this legislation will provide transparency to government spending so that you can hold elected officials accountable.

Over the last eighteen months, Ohio has moved from 48th to 4th in job creation. Today, Ohio is the number one job creator in the Midwest! In May, Ohio created over 19,000 jobs - the second most in the county. While we have accomplished a great deal, there is still much left to be done to make sure Ohio's economy is back on the right track.
